In one of my page im using JqGrid for which im not assigning width and not setting the auto width property also. In runtime in the GridComplete event im setting width for each header cells in percentage and for data rows i have assigned css class for each data cell and in this css class i have mentioned width in percentage.

Now the issue is after the grid is fuly loaded sometimes when i do any client side activities in the grid like sorting or cell click my grid alignment goes for a toss. Colum width are not the width that i have assigned and wraping of data in cells even though i have mentioned text-overflow property as elippsis for all data cells.

In general the Grid is not robust and some times it looks like a crushed paper. Where im doing it wrong.? please help me out on this.
