        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Ahhh, right... I just loaded the 8kb jQuery UI core js, and the 27kb UI css... the only thing is I notice issues with the collapse/expand option in the table (top right corner) - it&#39;s really laggy...with the full UI package or this stripped one.</p>

<p>If you use the basic grid you will have about 52Kb- the only that you need is to load the UI css (not the all css for the widgets) and jqgrid css additionaly.</p>
<p>If Flexigrid meet your needs, then use Flexigrid.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Is there any way to get around using jQuery UI (js + css) and using some alternative stylesheet or something to achieve the same effect?</p>
<p>Flexigrid for example does the same thing without requiring jQuery UI and it&#39;s only 30-40kb in size all together.</p>
