If you're using the 3.8 beta, I think there's a bug in preventing to show that message. You can do it manually btw

if ($(YourGrid).getGridParam("reccount") === 0) {

$(".ui-paging-info").html("No Data");

}

Theres another solution around but it may won't work because I think the emptyrecords variable is not working.

Hello,

i have set empty records in the grid but when no records is present it still shows the table without the message for empty record string.

Any ideas.
