You can use a custom formatter and spit out the html for an <a href="... etc. depending on the value Y or N

I'm new to jquery and trying to implement jquery for one of my project.  I would like to get help for one of my requirement.

Here is where I am facing problem.

I have 3 columns in grid  as , firstname, lastname and status. The value of status is either 'Y' or 'N' ( active or Not active ) and I have to create a link based on that. The link for 'Y' would be something 'enableUser' the and for 'N' would be disableUser .  I have used formatter 'showlink ' and formatOptions : baselinkUrl and Idname before but my values are going to be dynamic and I dont know how to change the link based on the values.

Can someone please guide me on that. Please reply to the earliest as my deadlines is very close.
