Look at this or this answers. You should just add an additional parameter to your controller action with the name as you use in editData. For example string myGrid.

Best regards
Oleg

Hello Aaron,

you can just use editData parameter for the Add/Edit form dialogs. The parameter allows you to add any additional information which will be send to the server together with the other parameters. If th you two grids you will be use different values for the editData like editData: {myGrid: 'myFirst'} and editData: {myGrid: 'mySecond'} then you you can analyse on the server side the value of myGrid parameter.

Best regards
Oleg

Hi,

I have a page with two grids. I'd like to use the same server method to process adds. Both grids will be submitting rows in the exactly the same format they are just presented to the user slighlty differently. How can I determine which grid the Add came from?

Thanks,
