I got the same problem, but i used that format :

formatoptions: { srcformat: 'ISO8601Short', newformat: 'd/m/Y' }

and now i got the good format for all my dates, hope it will work for you

formatter :'date',formatoptions: { srcformat:'F, d y H:i:s', newformat:'m/d/y' }

The JSON returns August, 01 2013 00:00:00

I use above code to format my date.

It works before 07/31, but it format 08/01 to 01/01 for some reason.

I tried different combination and using ShortDate, but no luck.

I would like to know what is the best format for date and time.

Sometimes, I got NAN, not a number for some reason,
