I know that you can add text at the end of the pager row with recordtext, but it is possible add something at the beginning?

I tried this:

loadComplete: function() {
   var html = $("#pager2").html();
   $("#pager2").html("<span>Page:&nbsp;</span>" +html);
},

...but that broke the pager code somehow.
