You can use /jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:methods, /blog/?page_id=393/feature-request/adding-title-attribute-to-grid-table-headers/, /blog/?page_id=393/help/custom-tooltiptitle-in-row/ and so on.

Hi,

Is it possible to have a custom tooltip on a column header? ie, have an acronym displayed on the header and the full description displayed in the tooltop.

I have tried using the headertitles, but that just displays the same label. Using colNames seems to override the label on the colModel. Using a custom formatter on the colModel only applies for cells. Am I missing something?
