Hi,

Is it possible to add fields which do not appear in the colmodel into search menu drop down list?

I have achieved this functionality by adding the data to the colmodel and then removing from display using hidden:true and searchhidden:ture options, but this seems quite expensive as the hidden columns are still inserted into the dom.

Hopefully this makes sense and I have not overlooked an obvious piece of functionality
