If you use 3.4.x this is not possible. Use the latest build of 3.5 and this should work

is it possible to dynamically make one or more columns in jqGrid unsortable? I tried using setColProp and sortable: false as property but that didn't work. Is it something I am doing wrong here or is there another approach for this??
