Under 240 it seems to be ok.

jqGrid 3.7 and jQuery 1.4.2

Any ideas how I can fix this problem? Or if I am able to fix it at all?

It's a read only grid so there is no inline editing or anything like that. Also there are no events attached to the rows. That's really all the extra info I have. Thanks for this. I will check this. It seems like jQuery remove (used when we clear the data) does not do the job.

Do you have any additional information for this case - like do you have attached event or something elese to the rows or cells?

This works fine with small result sets. However, when my grid contains around 100+ records the call to clearGridData causes both IE & Firefox to throw their "long running script" error and ask if you'd like to continue running the script or stop it. I posted this in the help section hoping their is a workaround for it but I am thinking this may actually be a bug.

Has anyone else experienced this?
