I tried to change the color of a row in jqgrid on selection.
For this, I used the code posted by Mr.Tony

<style>
#designation ui-state-highlight
{
  Background-color:  Red;
  color: Red;
}
</style>

My jqgrid definition is as below.

    jQuery().ready(function() {
        $(”#designation”).jqGrid({

….
Where designation is the table to display grid data.
But this is not changing the color on select of a row.
Can any body please help me.
