Hi,

I am not sure whether we can do this in jqGrid after searching the forum and not finding anything like this. When user selects a cell, depending upon the cell value, I make an ajax call to create a dropdown (using Formatcell & setColProp). Now, when he changes a value in the dropdown, again depending upon the cell value selected, I need to open up a textbox to get his input (basically his reason why he chose that value). Please let me know if someone has ever come up with this kinda requirement. Any suggestions are appreciated!
