I am using a custom search so that the search fields appear in something like a form above the grid. I want to make one of those fields an autocomplete field.

I have tried adding the logic to searchoptions in the colmodel, but those options are not used for custom search forms (at least, that's what the docs say).

Anyone figure this one out before?
