I have a large array of local data. When clicking on a column to sort, I can foce a jqModal dialog to appear but can't turn it off as it appears that there is no 'afterSortCol' event.

I need the red 'Loading...' message to appear immediately after user clicks on a column header and to stay visible until immediately after sorting is completed.

Any help would be much appreciated.
