Can u give me an example of what u said right now...like opening up a subgrid and launching a modal.

Hello,

Maybe you should use the new afterComplete event. When the row is inserted in main grid, you may have to open the subgrid and lunch the modal. Not sure what you try to do.

Ok I need help to make this working; I have a grid ‘grid_client’ with a subgrid (another jqGrid ‘grid_contact’). I added a button in navGrid of client, and I would like when this button is clicked to add a contact to the client selected. What I couldn’t find is how to show the add modal form for the contact grid. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
