You can achieve this placing the sums in the root node.

Previously you stated a plan to restructure the tree grid code to fix the jumping:

I was wondering if while you're restructuring you'd give consideration to an extra enhancement:

I would like to see the tree grid have total sum rows (a userdata footer row) for each tree node when the tree node is expanded. When the node is collapsed, I would like that sum total row to be at the top... example ->

Expanded Mode:

> household budget

        item1                  |  2.00  | 4.00  |  3.00  |

        item2                  |  1.00  | 5.00  |  3.00  |

        Totals                  | 3.00  |  9.00 |  6.00  |

> lunch budget

        item1                  |  1.00  | 1.00  |  1.00  |

        item2                  |  1.00  | 5.00  |  3.00  |

        Totals                  | 2.00  |  6.00 |  4.00  |

Collapsed Mode:

I could probably wrangle some code to make this work, but I thought I pitch it out there to see if you think it's worth including as a feature.
