Unfortunatley no. jqGrid CSS is depended on jQuery UI Theme.

I have see other request which was asked ( on stack flow for example) which are looking to use this grid without any style.

Also some plugins try to do this https://github.com/Soliman/jqGrid.bootstrap

 

I think the jquery-ui css is tiddly integrated with this great grid. 

Is it possible that the jqGrid, only create a plain table with normal html elements ( table, tr,td,th,thea,tbody) without any style
