<p>Hi,</p>
<p>First of all i would like to thank all the people involved in this awesome project and for the excellent documention provided in wiki.</p>
</p>
<p>Feature Request</p>
<p>I would like to group data in a normal grid(not the tree grid)</p>
<p>eg. if i have to group cities of country by country, the output should be</p>
<p><strong>India</strong></p>
<p>Mumbai</p>
<p>New Delhi</p>
<p>Chennai</p>
<p>Kochi</p>
<p>..</p>
<p><strong>US</strong></p>
<p>New York</p>
<p>Washington</p>
<p>&#8230;</p>
</p>
<p>Eg( <a href="http://www.dhtmlx.com/docs/products/dhtmlxGrid/&#160;&#038;nbsp" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.dhtmlx.com/docs/pro" rel="nofollow">http://www.dhtmlx.com/docs/pro</a>.....&#038;nbsp</a>;)</p>
<p>&#160;In the video tutorial in the above site, they use mygrid.groupby(0) function to group the grid by authors.</p>
<p>This would be an extremely useful feature.</p>
</p>
<p>Thanks. <img class="spSmiley" style="margin:0" title="Smile" src="/blog/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-smile.gif" alt="Smile" /></p>
