We used to develop an own table grid. We solved the problem of dynamic scrolling.

Please take a look at

where you can download and test the dynamic loadable and scrollable table with no limitation. I hope it will help to add this feature to your table.
We start now using jquery and therefore your table will be a candidate for us.

It is allready setted, but it requeres a more inteligent rendering engine.

Imagine if you have more that 5000 records in the table - in this case

you memory will be out.

If you look at scrollGrid function you will have a idea haw this can be done

Not sure if this could be done, but it is where you could scroll down to see all the rows without ever needing to page. Once you scroll past the grid display's limit, it automatically calls to the server to get the next batch for display.

Basically, it is another alternative to paging.
