Currently when a grid loads the data and when the user executes a refresh on the Navigator buttons, there is nothing to distinguish them.

My issue is, then when I load a grid for the first time, I store all my records in that grid in the user session.

When I then hit the refresh icon, my call doesnt go an retrieve the calls directly from the database but instead retrieves from the session.

I would imagein 'refresh' means, get me the latest data from the database. If an extra parameter could be passed in to Server Side calls to determine when it is a refresh, then I will know to not get from the session but from the database.
