jqGrid is very good component.

But it could be a problem to use jqGrid in bid project.

The reason is, that jqGrid contains data and manages requests to server it self.

If I have another controls on the page, I must get data from jqGrid.

Well, but if I do not have jqGrid at some page?

Do I need to get data from server by another way?

I do not think it is very good, if application has several ways to get data from server.

I guess it will be very right way if I will have component like DataSource.

This component must be independent.

So jqGrid will need just link to DataSource component to get data.
