Now I have added this and the change is in GitHub.

Currently, the edittype: 'checkbox' works fine for any of these expected values (and their counterparts): "false|0|no|off" - this is in jqGrid  4.4.1, Line 172, col 506 (and in couple other spots).

Can we please have two more values added? - I would like to have this:

false|0|no|off|n|f" - the Y/N seems to be quite a common approach for boolean fields in Oracle databases.
