I briefly looked the list and didn't see this idea so please forgive me if it's already in the works or suggested.

I'd like to see the ability to turn the top row into a filter row. Each column would have the ability to filter down record set based on what's in the filter column. The funtionality is very well done in Infragistics for winforms as an example.
