As far as my experience with JqGrid Goes - all of your points can be done with the normal jqGrid Plugin - you just need to dig a little and work your way around the restrictions of the Mobile Devices.

It worked for me on iPad (iOs 7 & 8) - as well as on my old Samsung S3 (therefore Android), I just needed to get the right CSS Style and change some things in the CSS so the Keyboard pops up and so on.

I want to create a hybrid grid. Looking nice on desktop devices but also nice on mobile devices.

On the commercial site I saw :Â qGrid.Mobile Subscription + Source Code + Priority Support Is there a separate mobile version? And is this one only with commercial license? If not where can I lay my hand on it?

This is my wishlist I think jqgrid come a long way:

I need:

it must work on mobile touch devices

column sorting

search the data

add new row

row highlighting

row ordering (drag or use Ctrl C Ctrl V)

edit a column (also on touch devices, I played with it but I miss the keyboard coming up)

data sits in MySQL, PHP backend, pagination should be nice

Which demo version to depart from?

Thanks in advance

John
