      I am working in jqgrid 3.6.4 using the feature like editing the cell. I am facing an issue in IE(using IE 8)  when I edit a cell which does  not having a value , and then the corresponding cell gets merged to the cell which has a value.  It works fine in  the firefox.

 Please suggest me how to resolve this issue.
