I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying that there *is* and "addoptions" already? is it documented?

Otherwise, how do you go about setting different options for add and edit?

Hello,

Yes this can be done. Set diffrent options for add and edit and it will work.

You can show or hide certain fields using beforeShowForm setted in both add and edit.

Is this the case?

Is there a way to have the popup form for editing/adding be different (slightly) depending on which it is?

For instance, when a user Adds a record to the database, they have the ability to add certain fields. After a record is entered, however, they are limited to what can actually be edited. (I'm thinking an "addoptions" as well as an "editoptions" is needed).

Is this doable currently?
