Well…

I believe jqgrid drag & drop implimentation works on some level. I just don't know at what level since forum posters seem to be having problems even with row drag & drop.

Unfortunatly, i'm guessing i won't get much farther than what's programmed in the jqgrid demo under the "New in version 3.6″ catagory on http://trirand.com/blog/jqgrid.....qgrid.html .

You can also try searching the web for clues.

Thanks for that. When you say "I need to implement..." I presume you mean the jqGrid developers?

which then means .. it doesn't work that you know of... and unlikely to be fixed/implemented soon?

No – no answer. It's not easy to get answers on this forum.

However, further research indicates that there may be issues in implimenting drop and drag. If you search this forum for "drop and drag" you'll see a lot of unanswered posts or posts where peoples are having problems.

ALso, the documentation on jqGrid drop & drag is somewhat lacking.

I need to implement both cell and row drop and drag.

I'm more interested in the drag-n-drop on a cell than the calender aspect (but that might be nice to)

hi all,

i was wondering if anyone has been able to configure jqgrid as a drag-n-drop event calendar?

While i haven't tried yet, i'm interested in using jqgrid to create an event calendar to manage workorders and to be able to drag-n-drop workorder events across hours and days.

thanks.
