I have a grid with inline edit, some of the fields are select dropdowns and they have a long list. What I would like to acheive is when user clicks on select then toolip window comes up with the list in columna format - user just clicks on the required option in the toolip window and function fires and set the select dropdown value

Has anyone done this? Any help would be appreciated.
