This is wrong. Formatter of type select is a special property for the selects - to use the key instead of name from the server. Refer to docs what is this. I see showAction property - this is used not for type select but for showlink

I have a grid with the subgrid as grid working.  Everything is fine.  If I take one of the columns of the column model and add the formatter property: select and formatoptions {url '', showAction:'show'}.

Then:

When I click the +/- toggle to display the subgrid,

Only

the subgrid heading is displayed and none of the subgrid data rows.

The column that is the key for for the subgrid toggle is not the same column that I placed the formatter property on.

What breaks? Could not help if so little info. Be a more specific. If switch to formatter of type select the data returned from server should be changed to accept the key, but not the name.
