It's known bug. Look at the answer which describes my suggestion how to fix the problem. In the answer you can find the link to fixed version of jquery.jqGrid.src.js.

Getting error "this.isEmpty is not a function" in version 4.3.2 when clicking submit on popup when trying to edit/create a record. Cannot add/update any data through the model dialog popup of jqGrid.
