Hi To All,

Update on this thread. For my issue it was a combination of a bug from jQuery giving us errors when trying to trigger the subgrid we updated to 1.7.1 and sorted the errors showing in firebug. But the main problem was as follows:

The subgrid was inherriting its datatype from the parent grid which was local. We needed to explicitly set the subgrid type to xml as follows:

subgridtype: 'xml',

Hi Mark,

I am finding the same thing. My ajax call does not seem to fire. I have experienced the problem with FF 4.0 OS X. Chrome 18.0.1003.1 dev. I thought it was an issue with jQuery but am now on 1.7.1 and still have the same issue.

Hello All.

I'm having a problem with subgrids on one of 5 main grids in a page. Sometimes when I click the + link to show the subgrid, it just shows Loading then later I found out, using firebug, that the ajax call that will pull data for subgrid didn't get fired.

Currently using version 4.

Anybody else experienced the same thing?
