This is not necessarily a bug, but a strange behavior with setGridWidth when shrinkToFit is set to true.

If the grid have few lines (no enough to have a vertical scrollbar), then calling setGridWidth will

resize all columns and disappear with the space of vertical scrollbar.

When grid is empty or full, setGridWidth resize all columns and properly maintain the space of the scrollbar.

I really appreciate that the space of vertical scroll bar always be maintained after the setGridWith.

my versions

jqGrid 4, jQuery 1.5.2, jQueryUI 1.8.11
