+ is not allowed char for the id. See specifications. Just construct your own DOM element with such id and try to manipulate it.

First of all : very nice plugin !

I have a grid with multiselect, and several rows id contain a "+" character.

When I click on the header checkbox, all but the "+ rows" are checked.

The same thing occurs if I call $('#grid').jqGrid('setSelection', rowId) on all rows...

It's quite annoying :/
