You will be a sure that both grids does not have equal ID's - that is if you have id=3 in grid, then in subgrid it should be not = 3- see how to avoid this using the idPrefix grid optin.

Is the problem that both the subgrid and parent grid have "rownumbers:true" enabled and, if so, how can this be corrected and still use rownumbers?
