Tony,

to make a test case, please create jqGrid with a multiselect option and 250 rows.

when you check multiselect box, mark the row with some style, yes you have to use small javascript call,

but do not recalculate all selected rows on every click as you do it now.

When the user presses some button, group selected rows by the style into an array.

You should work with styles to mark selected row, not to call javascript for every click.

Just wonder how we can change the styles in row (in order to make it selectable) without JavaScript!?!

If you have idea I will implement it, believe me.

multiselect option (If this flag is set to true a multi selection of rows is enabled. A new column at left side is added.)

for the number of rows >100

makes grid to look frozen.

Was this problem fixed in the release 4.0 ?

You should work with styles to mark selected row,
