Thanks for this recomendation. We will try to implemet it, but it is a little difficult to do it - suppose the user type some chars and then delete it - and then press search.

Instead we will try to do something (I do not promise that this will be available in 3.7)

When I open the MultiSearch dialog, then without entering any data a blank is added to the query server post.

example:

{"groupOp":"AND","rules":[{"field":"id","op":"eq","data":""}]}

I think this should not be appended to the post correct?, this blank is a not a real value, it's hard to differentiate between " " ( a space) or " " (multiple spaces) etc etc.

I think the MultiSearch dialog needs a dirty form to indicate if it's changed.
