I'm not sure, tbh I only skimmed thru the 3.3.2 jqgrid.formedit.js and it seems to be using the same form for add and editing just like 3.3.1 (where I can confirm the bugs exist).

Which version of jqGrid do you use?

Tray to use the latest one. If you use previous versions this bug exists.

Hi,

I found multiple bugs caused by using the same form for add and edit.

The biggest one, is when setting different URLs for add and edit. The first one used will set the form's url, the other will just use the first's URL.

More bugs exist, ie when using the events to manipulate the form for one of the actions.

I've patched it myself by creating separate forms for add and edit.

Did this in grid.formedit.js by changing

var IDs = {themodal:(rowid == "new" ? 'addmod' : 'editmod')+gID,modalhead:'edithd'+gID,modalcontent:'editcnt'+gID};

I have no idea how to do that function packer thingy tho 🙂
