in ui.jqgrid.css there are 4 lines which defines styles inside of .ui-jqgrid .ui-jqgrid-pager and only one line which define the same styles for ui-jqgrid-toppager. The following lines

.ui-jqgrid .ui-jqgrid-pager .ui-pg-div {padding:1px 0;float:left;list-style-image:none;list-style-position:outside;list-style-type:none;position:relative;}
.ui-jqgrid .ui-jqgrid-pager .ui-pg-button { cursor:pointer; }
.ui-jqgrid .ui-jqgrid-pager .ui-pg-div  span.ui-icon {float:left;margin:0 2px;} 

worrk not for the top pager. For example the cursor on the buttons for the toppager is default which is not good for buttons.

I think that the corresponding style definiting for the class ui-jqgrid-toppager should be added.

One group of the current settings I don't understand: why one need to set list-style-image:none;list-style-position:outside;list-style-type:none; (see above)? Probably in some old versions you used <ul>, <ol> with <li> elements inside. In the current version there are not used. Probebly one should remove the CSS style settings?
