        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Hi! Got a similar problem here.</p>
<p>I&#39;m testing with Win7+Chrome and measuring memory with Chrome task manager and profiler.</p>
<p>Whenever I need to cicle trough a code like this, the grid is destroyed but the memory is never released.</p>
</p>
<p><input type='button' class='sfcodeselect' name='sfselectit3699' value='Select Code' data-codeid='sfcode3699' /></p>
<div class='sfcode' id='sfcode3699'>$(&#39;#grid_container &#62; #grid&#39;).jqGrid(&#39;GridDestroy&#39;);</div>
<p><input type='button' class='sfcodeselect' name='sfselectit6105' value='Select Code' data-codeid='sfcode6105' /></p>
<div class='sfcode' id='sfcode6105'>$(&#39;#grid_container&#39;).html(&#39;&#60;table id=&#34;grid&#34;&#62;&#60;/table&#62;&#60;div id=&#34;pager&#34;&#62;&#60;/div&#62;&#39;);</div>
<p><input type='button' class='sfcodeselect' name='sfselectit4812' value='Select Code' data-codeid='sfcode4812' /></p>
<div class='sfcode' id='sfcode4812'>$(&#39;#grid_container &#62; #grid&#39;).jqGrid({     ...   });</div>
</p>
<p>Is there anything else that needs to be done to free the memory after destroying the grid (and before creating a new one)???</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Hello,</p>
<p>&#160; &#160; &#160; &#160;Thanks for your reply. I tested it in Win7 with IE 9. I open the task manager, and watch the memory use of &#160;IE when I browser jqGrid demo <a href="http://trirand.com/blog/jqgrid/jqgrid.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><a href="http://trirand.com/blog/jqgrid" rel="nofollow">http://trirand.com/blog/jqgrid</a>.....qgrid.html</a>.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Hello,</p>
<p>Could you please let us know how you measure the memory grow.</p>
<p>In principle the browser should make your own garbage collection.</p>
<p>We do not know the OS and exectley the IE version.</p>
<p>Regards</p>
<p>Tony</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>I have viewed the jqgrid demo <a href="http://trirand.com/blog/jqgrid/jqgrid.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><a href="http://trirand.com/blog/jqgrid" rel="nofollow">http://trirand.com/blog/jqgrid</a>.....qgrid.html</a>. Each time I click a link ,the memory grows a lot.Event after I close a tab,the memory still won&#39;t go down &#160;(I tested with IE9).</p>
<p>Is there any memory leak issue in jqgrid, or is there any method to avoid this.</p>
<p>BTW, from the demo ,I found jqgrid is very good and easy to use, thanks!</p>
