<p>I believe that when switching pages, the tr and td elements of the previous page are not being cleaned up and remain in DOM building up.</p>
</p>
<p>If you use sIEve and go to the demonstration page on this site, and switch backwards and forward between page 1 and 2 of the JSON Data demo grid, you will see that the memory usage and DOM usage just keeps increasing.</p>
