a.replace is not a method

and then I traced it down to one of my other js files which was packed

specifically

http://code.google.com/p/gmaps.....src/?r=124

So I took the source code and minimized it with 

http://fmarcia.info/jsmin/test.html

and guess what?!?? it worked. I hope this helps others
