After examining the source code of jqGrid, I believe the problem lies within the scrollGrid function where hDiv.scrollLeft is set to bDiv.scrollLeft. It seems that because of a bug in Android browsers 4.0.3+, scrollLeft is not supported.

Hi,

I have a jqGrid which has too many columns to be completely displayed on mobile devices. To view all the columns, you have to scroll horizontally. This works perfectly in Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and IE 7+, but in the Android native browser, the headers don't scroll with the grid rows and become misaligned. Clicking inside the grid causes the headers to snap into alignment.

Thanks for looking into this,
Angela
