There was a "typo" in the DOCTYPE (I missed a double-quote) so I imagine that it was ignored and the browser got confused about which version of HTML I am using.

it works fine with FF 3.0.14, but FF 3.5.3

So it's browser dependent.

Someone could suggest a workaround? (and no, replacing the browser with an older one is not a viable option... Wink)

I noticed a small bug in column resize on a quite basic grid when a subgrid is present and I set forceFit to true; it doesn't care if subgrid is collapsed or not

When I resize a main grid column, just the first row of data is resized, while the remaining rows are resized only if I hover the mouse cursor over them.

I'm using jqGrid 3.5 with FF 3.5.3
