in your xml data mapping example you have the line:

<script src="xmlmap.js" type="text/javascript"> </script>

I searched the jqGrid distribution and that java script file is not included. I found a reference to xmlmap.js on the net, but I don't want to download and use the wrong one.

Where is xmlmap.js from? Where can I grab that dependency?

Thanks for going to the extra effort of support xml and not just Json. Working with XML seems much more intuitive for a java dev switching to ASP.NET MVc.
