Thanks Dave. The navButtonAdd in 3.5 should be compatible with UI Theme Roller. Also this method is not ready and IMHO it need to be rewriten completley.

I also posted this as a comment to the 3.5 release.  I thought I should add it here instead.

Another bug: When you add your own buttons to the navgrid, the icons are translated into a class of the span rather than the src of an image:
